01Who we are
RMC Technology & Consultancy Limited ("RMC", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12084911, with its registered office at 17 Green Lanes, London, N16 9BS, United Kingdom. We act as a data controller for personal data collected through our website and as a data processor when delivering services to clients.
02Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact details you submit via forms (name, email, company)
- Project information you choose to share (problem description, budget range)
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, device type, referrer)
- Usage data (pages visited, time on page, conversion events)
03Lawful basis
We process personal data on the basis of (a) your consent, (b) the performance of a contract with you, (c) our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
04How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and deliver proposals
- To deliver contracted services
- To improve our website, services, and security
- To comply with legal, accounting, and reporting obligations
05Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with vetted sub-processors (cloud hosting, email, analytics) under written data processing agreements, and with authorities where required by law.
06Data residency
Personal data is stored within the UK and EEA where possible. Where transfers outside the UK/EEA are necessary, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
07International transfers
Some of our processors are located outside the United Kingdom. Where we transfer personal data to a country that is not covered by UK adequacy regulations, we put a lawful transfer mechanism in place under Chapter V of the UK GDPR — the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — together with any additional safeguards required by law. Where a country benefits from a UK adequacy decision, we rely on that adequacy.
08Sub-processors
We rely on a small set of vetted infrastructure and service providers to run our website and deliver our services. Depending on the engagement, personal data may be processed by providers such as:
- Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud — cloud hosting and infrastructure
- Vercel — application hosting, delivery, and website analytics
- Twilio — telephony, voice, and messaging, where an engagement uses it
- OpenAI and Anthropic — AI model processing, where an engagement uses it
All sub-processors are bound by written data processing agreements with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. A current sub-processor list is available on request at info@rmctech.co.uk.
09Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes set out above, or as required by law. Enquiry data is typically deleted after 24 months of inactivity.
10Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO
