What does RMC actually do?+
We build custom software, deliver AI transformation, and provide on-demand engineering teams. Most engagements are fixed-scope, fixed-price, and shipped in weeks.
Where are you based?+
RMC Technology & Consultancy Limited is registered in London (Companies House #12084911), with senior engineers across the UK and Europe.
Who do you typically work with?+
Telecom operators, call centers, media/OTT companies, government and municipal bodies, and mid-to-large enterprises. We have productised offers for both small pilots and multi-team programmes.
How fast do you reply to enquiries?+
Within 24 hours on business days. Most enquiries get a real human reply within 4 hours.
Pricing & Engagements
Are your prices really fixed?+
Productised packs (AI Starter, Call Center Automation, MVP in 30 Days) are fixed-price. Custom engagements get a fixed quote within 48 hours of a discovery call.
What's not included in the price?+
Third-party costs (cloud hosting, telephony minutes, LLM tokens) are billed at cost. Everything else is in the price.
How do payments work?+
50% upfront, 50% on delivery for fixed packs. Monthly invoicing for on-demand teams. UK contracts, GBP or USD.
Do you offer support after delivery?+
Yes — every pack ships with post-launch support. You can extend with a monthly retainer.
Can we start with a paid discovery first?+
Yes. A 1-week paid discovery is often the fastest way to scope a complex engagement with confidence.
Delivery
How fast can you start?+
On-demand teams: average 5 business days from signed SOW. Productised packs: within 2 weeks of contract signature.
What does the process look like?+
Discovery → scope lock → weekly demoable releases → QA → launch → handover. You see progress, not status reports.
What if scope changes mid-build?+
Small changes are absorbed. Bigger ones get a written change order with delta cost and timeline. No surprises.
Who is actually writing the code?+
Senior engineers, 10+ years average experience. No junior engineers learning on your dime, no proxy management.
What's the smallest engagement you take?+
The 2-week Operations Audit (£4,500) or the AI Starter Pack (£6,500, 2 weeks).
AI Transformation
How is your AI different from a chatbot?+
Chatbots follow scripts. Our agents reason, call tools, hold context, escalate to humans when needed, and ship with evaluation harnesses. They're built like production software.
What about hallucinations?+
We constrain agents to your data, use grounded retrieval, and ship with evals that catch regressions. For high-stakes flows we use human-in-the-loop approvals.
Will customer data train someone else's model?+
No. We never use customer data to train third-party models. Per-tenant isolation for vector stores and memory. UK/EU data residency by default.
What LLMs do you use?+
Whatever fits the job — Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, or open-source models. We're model-agnostic and can switch providers without rewriting your stack.
Can the AI work with our existing CRM and telephony?+
Yes. Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, custom CRMs, Twilio, Vonage, SIP-based PBXs — if it speaks API, we can wire to it.
Security & Compliance
Where is data stored?+
UK and EU regions by default. Other regions on request, under SCCs or equivalent safeguards.
Are you GDPR / UK DPA compliant?+
Yes. We act as data controller for our website and as data processor for customer engagements. See /legal/gdpr for details.
Do you have ISO 27001?+
We align with ISO 27001 controls and the UK Cyber Essentials framework. Formal certification is in progress.
Can we get a pen test report?+
Yes, available to enterprise customers under NDA. We commission independent pen tests annually and after material production changes.
How do we report a security issue?+
security@rmctech.co.uk — we acknowledge within 24 hours and triage promptly. Responsible disclosure welcomed.
Contracts & IP
Do we own the source code?+
Yes. 100%. Source code, full repo access, your accounts, your IP. No vendor lock-in.
Will you sign an NDA?+
Yes — we're happy to sign a mutual NDA before any sensitive information is exchanged. Just ask.
What governing law do your contracts use?+
England and Wales by default. We can accommodate your preferred jurisdiction for enterprise engagements.
What are your liability limits?+
Standard limit is fees paid in the 12 months preceding any claim. Higher limits available for enterprise contracts.
Can we terminate early?+
Fixed packs: completion-based. On-demand teams: minimum 4 weeks then one week's notice. We don't lock you in.
